  Why is it called Brisbane West Wellcamp? It's stupid. No one knows Wellcamp and Brisbane West? Is that a marketing ploy to try and lure people to think it's in the western suburbs of Brisbane? It's a nice airport with a dumb name. Try Toowoomba International or name it after someone deserving like Toowoomba Walton Airport after Nancy Bird Walton a famous Australian aviator. Something's got to be better than Brisbane West Wellcamp. It's infuriatingly dumb!

  Waiting area is better than qantas club. Everything is still very new. Not like country Australia at all.

  This is a great little airport. Modern and convenient and everyone here is very helpful and friendly. It's a little far from Brisbane to truly be an alternate airport, but for anywhere in the Darling Downs region, it's great.

  Wrongly branded. Wellcamp is not a suburb of Brisbane nor is it part of "Brisbane West". Its 2 hours from Brisbane on a bus. Its not even in the Brisbane metro area or Brisbane City Council statistical area. Brisbane west is Kenmore, etc not Wellcamp airport. This area is under a different city ordinance, that is in Toowoomba City and should be described as such.
